Parkside Towbars Pty Ltd A.B.N. 67 103 851 770 ("Parkside", "us" or "we") is conscious of the need for privacy & security for your Internet shopping experience.
We use sophisticated encryption technology. This means at the checkout, our servers and your PC encrypt (scramble) everything that you enter into your computer, such as credit card details, billing and delivery address. Because it is encrypted, other computers are unable to make sense of it, therefore keeping this information private.
There are visual clues on screen that tell you when you have entered a secure environment. In the bottom of your browser, the key or padlock icon, which is normally broken, becomes solid.
As part of the software used by Parkside there are secure processes built into the store. Specifically the engine ensures:
- Every order has a unique number
- Every order is logged in a robust database
- All your payment details can only be retrieved by Parkside in an encrypted session
- Confirmation emails of your order are sent to you the customer
We only email you if you want us to. We do not send unsolicited emails. When you register your email address with us you go on a list to receive email announcements about products, offers and promotions from Parkside. We do not disclose your email address to third parties.
Every email message we send includes an email address to which you can respond. If at any time you decide you do not want to receive our emails simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the newsletter. This will remove your email address from our mailing list. If you unsubscribe you will still receive emails specifically related to your online orders.
Delivery charges are calculated and added to your order after you enter your delivery location and before you enter your payment details. You get to see the full charge before completing your purchase.
We offer delivery of our products Australia wide; however some isolated regions may require additional delivery time and/or charges. If this is the case for your area we will endeavour to notify you of this. We do not deliver outside Australia.
Given the large and varied range of the products we offer for sale and the vast geographical expanse of Australia, Parkside uses a selection of different couriers for delivery fulfilment. As such delivery times can vary greatly. The anticipated delivery time will be within 3-5 working days after dispatch however you should allow up to 10 working days for bulky items or delivery to remote areas. If an item ordered is out of stock you will be notified of the expected additional delay.
Note that higher charges will apply for large/heavy items and also for deliveries to some rural and remote areas. We will advise you by email when you place your order if a higher delivery charge is required. We will not send the goods without your approval of this higher rate. Despite our very best efforts, there may be some items and/or locations where we are unable to deliver. In such events Parkside will offer a full refund.
Our couriers only offer delivery during Business hours and can not deliver to PO Boxes. We strongly recommend you choose a delivery address where some person will be available to take receipt of your order during business hours. In the event that you are not able to accept delivery a card will be left and you will need to make arrangements for collection or re-delivery with the courier company. Additional charges may apply.
Description of Products
Each product purchased is sold subject to its Product Description. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the position at the exact moment you place an order.
Returns & Damaged Goods Policy
At Parkside, we stand by the quality of our product and we endeavour to make things right in the event that you are not satisfied with your purchase.
You can return any product you buy from us for a full refund or exchange within 14 days of purchase, no matter what the reason. The product must be returned in its original condition with packaging and invoice.
Delivery charges are non-refundable.
To return product please visit your nearest Parkside store with a copy of your invoice. If you do not live close to one of our stores then please call us on 08 9470 8555 or email us at: email@example.com and we will advise you on how best to return the goods to us.
If the goods have been damaged in transit please call us on 08 9470 8555 or email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange to replace the damaged product(s).
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All prices on this site are stated in Australian dollars (AUD) and are current at the time of issue. Parkside reserves the right to effect price changes at any time and for any reason we consider necessary. Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
The purchase price as displayed for each and every item on the Website may be different to the purchase price for the same product in any of our stores.

This site and its content is made available for the purposes of shopping online with Parkside and providing information about Parkside's products.
